Sharlene 'Joy' Jose, Lead Designer & Project Manager. Sharlene has over five years of graphic design and web development experience, and over a decade of Internet media and technology expertise. Academically- and self-taught, her talent for creating clean and almost zen-like aesthetic designs stems from her lifelong love of nature, art, theatre, photography and architecture. Although primarily a designer these days, Sharlene has a clear and solid understanding of the backend web development and architecture due to her former dedicated life as a web application developer.  She is well versed in Internet marketing and advertising, and continually helps websites increase their online presence. Effronterie (if-frun'-tuh-ree) - French for effrontery, which in English means brazen boldness.
The name is inspired by the book Art Objects: Essays on Ecstasy and Effrontery.
